Dan Pecchia has worked on-site in Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, Mich., and remotely, to support major change projects at Whirlpool.

The world’s largest manufacturer of home appliances has a highly effective system for implementing changes that enhance customer service and profitability.

Part of that system is communication to help those affected by the changes understand, embrace and implement them, often against resistance.

Whirlpool has relied on Pecchia Communications to work on-site in Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, Mich., and remotely, to plan, develop and manage communications that support these organizational change initiatives.

Working closely with Whirlpool’s change management and project management professionals, we provide the planning, writing, design and interactive firepower that accelerates the success of organizational changes.

Our deliverables for Whirlpool have included communications plans, presentations, newsletters, intranet pages, seminars, posters, meeting remarks, video scripts and other communications, primarily for employees, but sometimes for customers and suppliers.

Pecchia Communications “has been responsive, efficient and effective across a range of communications needs,” said Brian Conway, project manager, supply chain, at Whirlpool in Benton Harbor, Mich.

“The work has shown our team the value of effective communications in driving success.”
