YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Dan Pecchia, an Ohio public relations consultant, was quoted extensively in a recent PR News article about PR strategies that support major corporate changes.
Pecchia, president of Pecchia Communications in Youngstown, told the national weekly newsletter that clear language and employee input are critical to the success of major changes.
“A good PR person can cut through the complex language that often accompanies internal change, particularly if it’s around technology,” Pecchia told PR News.
Pecchia has served in communications lead roles for Whirlpool (Benton Harbor, Mich.), Timken (Canton, Ohio), AkzoNobel Paints (Strongsville, Ohio) and other large companies working through major changes. He writes a blog about change management, PR and marketing issues at www.pecchiacomm.com.
PR News is available by subscription only, but an excerpt that contains the change management article is available on the Pecchia Communications website.
