Pecchia Communications plans to mark its 20th anniversary this year by making a $20,000 donation to a local nonprofit organization, the Business Journal reported.
“We have a specific service in mind and plan to make this donation in November to celebrate the tremendous support we’ve received over our 20 years,” Dan Pecchia, president and founder, says in a story published today in the paper’s Growth Report.
Pecchia was out of work when he established Pecchia Communications Nov. 1, 2005 as a “side project” while he pursued another full-time job. That job never came, but the business “took off” in early 2006, he says.
