Pecchia Communications is led by Dan Pecchia, a veteran of Ohio’s news and public relations circles since the 1980s.
Dan has spearheaded PR and communications programs for Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and many companies in between. Companies have relied on Dan’s counsel through mergers, restructurings, major technology implementations and other organizational changes.
Dan established Pecchia Comm in 2005, after 12 years in management with two agencies, Innis Maggiore Group and Ira Thomas Associates. During those years he won several regional and national awards, mentored dozens of young professionals and learned from many sages in the business. Previously, Dan was business editor at The Vindicator in his hometown, Youngstown, Ohio.
Throughout his career, Dan has belonged to the the National Investor Relations Institute and the Public Relations Society of America. He is a former director of NIRI’s Pittsburgh Chapter.
Dan holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from Youngstown State University. He has taught journalism and writing classes as an instructor at Youngstown State and at Kent State University’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
